It aches me, pains me, destroys me, and ruins me to not give Harry's a five star!
Atmosphere is so inviting and cool, like a cool single dad's garage? Like if Patrick Swayze's character from Roadhouse lived with Susan Sarandon's character from Thelma and Louise and they were raising Emilio Esteves (THE MIGHTY DUCK GUY) together? And if they all shared their garage space as a club house to work on their Dodge Challenger while watching the game and having charbroiled burgers and a beer to celebrate after? That's what Harry's is like! It's good!
It is the absolute best charbroiled burger joint in the west end! The burgers are perfection: The Plain Jane burger is FAR from plain, it has all the perfect elements of a burger all wrapped up together in holy matrimony, and it celebrates its honeymoon in your mouth! Does that make sense? Or do I just have wedding season fever? I don't know! The burger is 10/10!
The fires are the best fries in town, I'm dead! If my life's goal was to have the best fries ever and then die, please shoot me now. *pew pew*
I have also been here for many brunches, and the avocado toast with some sausage and a boiled egg on the side was what I ordered! Lol! Man oh man oh man oh man, they do not skimp on the avocado, fam! It's sooooooo good. A nice cool Himalayan mountain of avocado on a warm toasty sourdough bread! Mmmm I feel like a new woman when I eat it, almost makes me forget the soul wrenching hangover for a brief moment. Coffee is dece too!
Now...I can't give Harry's the fifth star because what the the hell is the deal with the rancid, putrid, appalling, nauseating state of their bathrooms?!?!?! Please please please clean it! I get your vibe, it's supposed to be chill, low key, easy peazy, and fun! BUT I don't wanna throw up my delicious Plain Jane burger every time I have to go freshen up or excuse myself to the lil ladies room!
Please clean up that bathroom couple times a day or a few times a day. Get some oil diffusers or something, I dunno where that smell of mildew is coming from. Sometimes the smell can leak into the restaurant if you sit too close to the bathroom doors! YUCK!
I'm proud to say that I'm a regular at Harry's! And I would stay for a beer or two after my meal, if I didn't have to run home to pee or freshen up after my burger every time, because I'm traumatized and terrified to use that bathroom!
Thank you Harry's! I will be back! BUT CLEAN YO BATHROOM! -

Food was great! Highly recommend the red burger. Poutine gravy and side salad were excellent!
However, disappointed by the fact that their chocolate milk shake is vanilla ice cream with added chocolate sauce.
Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired despite the fact that it was a slow Sunday evening.
I will be back but I hope to have a server that's a little more welcoming and isn't so bothered by my business... -

One of the best burger joints in Toronto!!! If you're looking for a great simple burger this is the place to check out! The fries alone deserve a 5 star! The fries are by far one of the best I've ever had. They're incredibly crispy and thick and the burger is so juicy! Service is ok.

Harry's a laid back, cozy bar and restaurant.
The staff was friendly and got us all a round of shots for my wife's birthday (and there were about 15 of us).
There are Christmas lights and other fun, tacky decorations adorning the place.
I tried the poutine and while it wasn't good poutine, it would be great disco fries in New Jersey where I'm from.
No complaints! Recommended! -

Found this place online when I was trying to find a lunch spot in Parkdale, and was lured in by the reviews. What a gem! First off, it's nothing special on the outside...looks a bit rundown. On the inside, it's got lots of vintage posters and Christmas lights which is kitschy. I had the Banquet burger and my boyfriend had the Big-Jane burger. I'll agree with other posters saying that the burger is a touch small for the price, but that's not necessarily a bad thing...I don't need a monster burger all the time! The burger itself was FANTASTIC and delicious, all of the toppings added so much flavour. But real talk...the fries?? These are like a thick steak cut fry. Fried perfectly.
Overall, I absolutely loved the food here and would highly recommend it. Sorry for the blurry picture, was in too much of a rush to eat.
